Sell to Us Terms

These terms apply whenever we buy hardware from you, whether you sell it for cash or trade it in for store credit. We are Nano Computers Limited (trading as Neox Computers), Company Registration Number 14292345, VAT Number GB460328018, Registered Office at 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom.

Accepting a purchase offer from us means you accept these terms.

You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. We buy from private sellers and from businesses.

We may decline any item, or any seller, without giving a reason.

Every offer is issued as a written purchase offer with an offer number, and it is held open for the number of days stated on it.

The offer is based on the description you gave us: the exact model, quantity, specification, working status and any accessories included. It applies to that item only and cannot be transferred to another item or another seller.

Once you accept, please send the hardware within 14 days. After that we may withdraw or re-quote the offer, because second-hand hardware values move.

By accepting an offer you confirm that you own the hardware outright, that it is not subject to any finance, lease, credit or hire agreement, and that no other person has any claim over it.

You confirm the hardware is not stolen and has not been obtained unlawfully. Where we have reason to believe an item is stolen we report it and cooperate with the police, and no payment is made for it.

Any device you send must be free of activation locks, firmware locks and account locks. A locked device cannot be valued and will be treated as rejected.

We email you a prepaid tracked label. Use that label. Pack the hardware as instructed on your offer, because carriers refuse claims for inadequate packing.

While the parcel is travelling on our label it is at our risk, except for loss or damage caused by packing that does not meet those instructions.

Include only the items listed on the offer. Remove memory cards, SIM cards and any storage that is not part of the sale. We are not responsible for anything sent to us that is not on the offer.

We test and inspect the hardware when it reaches us, normally on the same working day.

If it matches the description, we pay the figure on your offer. If the model, specification, condition, authenticity, working status or accessories differ from what was described, we will tell you what we found and send a revised figure.

You then have 14 days to accept the revised figure or ask for the hardware back. Returns in that situation are free and tracked, to a UK mainland address.

If we have not heard from you within 30 days of sending a revised figure, we will contact you again before taking any further step. We do not treat unanswered items as abandoned without warning you first.

Erasing your data before you send anything is your responsibility. Back up what you need, erase the device, sign out of every linked account, and on Apple hardware turn off Activation Lock.

We also wipe storage as part of our refurbishment process, but we cannot guarantee recovery of anything you left on the device, and we are not liable for data that remains on hardware you send us.

A device that will not power on cannot always be wiped by us. Do not send one without erasing it first.

We pay by bank transfer to a UK account in your own name, or as store credit if you would rather put the value towards a purchase. We do not pay in cash and we do not pay a third party on your behalf.

Payment is sent once the inspection is complete and the final figure has been agreed, normally the same working day.

Offer figures carry no VAT, because the amount quoted is the amount you receive. If you are VAT registered, tell us before you accept, and we will confirm the VAT treatment and ask you for a VAT invoice.

The hardware stays yours until we have paid you in full. Title passes to us on payment.

You can change your mind at any point before payment. Tell us as soon as you can and we will return the hardware to you free of charge, to a UK mainland address.

Once payment has been sent the sale is complete and the hardware cannot be bought back.

We buy the models listed on our Sell pages. If you have something that is not listed, ask us and we will tell you whether we can quote for it.

We do not buy items that are counterfeit, unsafe, fire damaged or liquid damaged, and we do not buy hardware with removed, altered or unreadable serial numbers.

Our total liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the figure on the offer, except where liability cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence and fraud.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
